Join us to inaugurate the Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens Program for Middle Eastern Studies! The evening’s festivities will include a cocktail hour with Middle Eastern food and panoramic views of the Bay and San Francisco skyline, live North African music, presentations by the 2016-2017 Stevens Scholars, and a keynote address by world-renowned Libya specialist Professor Diederick J. Vandewalle. Your support will help ensure that the Ambassador’s legacy is maintained by allowing current and future UC Berkeley students to travel to the region for language training and engaged scholarship.
