Six years ago, our long-time Cal Alumni Club of DC tradition--the Annual Picnic--was brought back from hibernation, and nearly 100 alumni and friends came out for a great time.  

Following its continued success as the club's premiere summer event, we are excited to host our 2016 Cal in the Capital interns who will be wrapping up their internships here in DC AND the incoming class of 2020 (and their families from the DC area) who are getting ready for their first Cal Welcome Week!

This year, the club is pleased to announce that it will continue to use the location that permits alcohol on campus grounds. The club will provide a keg (no aluminum or bottles are allowed).

METRO:  This year our picnic location is Metro-accessible! Closest metro station is Grosvenor (Red Line). Look out for the blue & gold balloons for the carpool pick-up (or take a leisurely walk westward on Tuckerman Lane for ~3 miles; less from White Flint Metro)

CAR: Take Old Georgetown Road North off 495, Turn Left on Tuckerman Lane, Go through Westlake Drive, the Group Picnic Area is the fenced area on the Right.
