Join us for our first DC Cal Book Club get-together of 2019! We'll be reading Becoming by Michelle Obama (Any format welcome; the book is available at Kramerbooks and Amazon, and there is an Audible version available that is narrated by Michelle Obama herself!)

We will meet in the basement of Teaism at Penn Quarter (400 8th St NW, Washington, DC 20004). Teaism is letting us use their space for free and we hope to continue meeting here so please make a purchase to show your support!

If you are unable to attend our first event, please join us for the next meeting and let us know what you want to read next! We are currently planning to meet once a month on a Wednesday evening and will send an email a month in advance with information on the next book. You may submit a book recommendation at any time, but please vote for the next read before the book club's meeting so that it can be announced at the upcoming event.
