Alexandria is rapidly being redeveloped along the Potomac River waterfront. As new buildings go up, razed sites have yielded archaeological historical treasures.  The tour will be led by Jay Roberts, author of “River to Rails, A Guidebook to Historical Markers in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia” and an upcoming book, “Lost Alexandria:  An Illustrated Guide to Sixteen Destroyed Historic Homes in and Around Alexandria, Virginia."

The tour will be limited to 25 people and is a member priority tour.
