Every dollar of each raffle ticket purchased will be donated to our DC Cal Alumni Leadership Scholarship for incoming and current Cal students. This merit-based scholarship recognizes undergraduate students at UC Berkeley who demonstrate innovative, initiative-driven leadership impacting their academic, work, or community environments.
The scholarship is very competitive, just like college & professional sports. Students must re-apply each year to demonstrate continued leadership in their communities. The $2000 one-year scholarship award is a coveted and much-appreciated gift of recognition and investment from alumni to students to ensure Berkeley's continued excellence. What can I win?
If you purchase your ticket before Wednesday, October 12th at 12 PM, you're eligible to win any of the below five prizes. You may purchase as many raffle tickets as you wish. Anyone can enter; you do not need to be a Cal Alumni to enter & win.
Club seats: (Donated by DC United) 2 private seats on the Club Level plus access to the private lounge with included food & drink (beer & wine included!) plus one complimentary VIP parking pass ($260 value donated by DC United). The winner's name will be submitted to DC United on October 12th, so you will be properly registered with security for access to the VIP Parking lot and Club Level. We will announce the winner (not your full name, for privacy reasons) on our Facebook page and notify you by email, so be sure to check both.
If you purchase your ticket before the pre-game tailgate on October 16th, you will be eligible to win the below four prizes. Each of the items are scheduled to be autographed by Steve Birnbaum, so stay tuned to this page and our newsletter for updated prize photos!
League rules prevent us from exchanging funds at the tailgate, so you must purchase your tickets online before 1 PM on game day. Winners will be selected at the tailgate. You do not need to be present to win, but be sure to purchase your tickets with a valid email address so we can contact you if you win. You may purchase as many tickets as you wish.

* Raffle ticket numbers will be automatically assigned in sequential order based on order of purchase (i.e. first purchaser of a single ticket will be assigned ticket number 0001, second purchaser of 10 tickets will be assigned ticket numbers 0002-0011), etc.
