This year, the Cal Alumni Club of DC will be joining The Salvation Army's Feast of Sharing on Wednesday, November 23rd, to give back to those who are in need. Volunteers will help at the organization's free Thanksgiving dinner at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, which will serve nearly 5,000 community members. If you are staying in town for the holiday and are looking for a way to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with people who will be immensely grateful for a filling & hot meal, please join us!

Volunteers must register both with the Cal Alumni Club and with the Salvation Army. Signup for the Dining Hall Floor Shift 9am - 2pm with team name DC Bears. Signup asap as volunteer spots are filling up fast, but no later than Wednesday, November 16th, as we will be preparing a small personalized memento in gratitude for all our volunteers. New volunteers are required to attend an orientation the night before the dinner, on Tuesday, November 22nd from 6-8 pm at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
