Book Talk with Derek Thompson - Thu 2/22 @ 4PM

Hooks Book Events and Libraries Without Borders invite you to join us for a FREE discussion with author Derek Thompson on is best-selling book Hit Makers: The Science of Popularity in an Age of Distraction.

.

As we dig into Thompson’s research on how Disney, Renoir, and The Weeknd became popular, we will explore the potential to use this same science to help nonprofits like Libraries Without Borders to promote literacy and to combat misinformation. The night will include an opportunity for guests to exchange ideas over wine and other light refreshments. Donations to Libraries Without Borders will be accepted throughout the night. All donors who give greater than $50 will receive a signed copy of Hit Makers courtesy of Hooks Book Events.

The event will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Space is limited. Please respond by February 16th.
