The DC Cal Alumni supper club will ring in the new year with tasty Thai food at The Regent on Dupont Circle, Saturday January 17 at 6 pm. I made the reservation for 14. Please RSVP directly to me at this email address to reserve your spot. As usual it’s first come first serve, though if more are interested, the restaurant seemed fine with increasing the number. As usual you may eat as much or as little as you wish. Join us for an appetizer or full meal, as it’s the Golden Bear company that is most important. Due to the difficulty of paying individually in large groups, PLEASE BRING CASH TO PAY FOR THE BILL! PLEASE NOTE: There will be a 10% DC Tax and 20% gratuity charge added to final bills. To figure out your cost for the evening, simply multiply the cost of the meal by 1.3. For example - if the meal itself costs $35, the final cost for dinner will be 35*1.3 or $45.50.
To reserve a spot, please RSVP to Kathy Molina by emailing: [email protected]. Reservations are a must and are first come first served. If you reserve but your plans change, please email Kathy immediately so your spot may be offered to someone else should a wait list arise.
About the Cal Alumni Club of Washington DC Supper Club:
Supper club is a very loose gathering of interested Cal alum in the area who simply like to go out and eat on occasion, with the best company in the world - Old Blues! There is no set schedule, as we simply try to organize a dinner about once every 4 - 6 weeks. We travel around the metro area. We've gone to Silver Spring, DC, Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church and Vienna for dinner, always trying to change up cuisines and prices, sometimes on the metro, sometimes off of it. If you can’t make it this time, perhaps you’ll be able to join us in at a future gathering. Suggestions for restaurants or dinner ideas are always welcome. Kathy
