On Feb. 25, join fellow Cal alums in volunteering at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens to help protect, restore and promote the park. The national park site showcases historic ponds with spectacular water lilies and lotus, tidal marsh and habitat for wildlife. Volunteers will work either in the greenhouse potting, planting and sharpening tools, or outside clearing invasive plants.

Plan to meet between 9:30 and 9:45 am, with activities beginning at 10 am. Once you arrive at the park, there will be a maintenance/greenhouse area to the left of the entrance. You'll see a registration table, which is where we will convene.
Make sure to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and long-sleeved shirts and be prepared to work outside! The event will run rain or shine.
