An international trio who blend world roots, post-minimalism, and jazz to create powerful, eclectic songs that are driven by lyricism and an avant-garde aesthetic. Featuring vocalist/violinist Iva Bittova, guitarist Gyan Riley, and Cal alum clarinetist Evan Ziporyn.

• Eviyan’s musical roots are the lifetime experiences of its three members, each having traveled the globe for decades, collaborating with master musicians on every continent.
• Vocalist and violinist Bittova draws on the sounds of her native Moravia, and her lineage in the rich traditions of Slovakia and the Roma people.
