Costas Spanos

Costas Spanos is the Director of the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society at UC Berkeley (CITRIS)  https://citris-uc.org/about/ ;  and the Banatao Institute. He is also the Andrew S. Grove Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, and the Chief Technical Officer of the Berkeley Education Alliance for Research in Singapore (BEARS). He has served as the EECS Department Chair and the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Engineering at Berkely. His present research is focusing on energy and sustainability.

Brandie Nonnecke

Brandie Nonnecke, PhD is Founding Director of the CITRIS Policy Lab and Co-Director of the CITRIS Tech for Social Good Program . She is a Fellow at the World Economic Forum where she serves on the Council on the Future of the Digital Economy and Society. She was named a 2018 RightsCon Young Leader in Human Rights in Tech in 2018.
