Hello Bears! We kick off the 2016 brunch schedule with Firefly DC. This is a personal favorite of mine, and serves a variety of American fare. After two years as your brunch leader, I am sadly breaking the chain of bottomless mimosas; we have done quite well with the easily accessible Saturday brunch locations. However, Firefly has $3 mimosas and $15 carafes.

As a new direction for brunch bunch 2016, we will be running smaller events for easier management and the ability to try out smaller venues. Be sure to RSVP early if you'd like to join us!

Please bring cash (smaller denominations recommended) in order to ease our payment time. Also, if you RSVP but later find yourself unable to attend, please extend the courtesy of letting us know.

Separately, on a less fun note, there will be changes to reservations for brunch bunch in 2016. Due to problems with no-shows, if an individual misses two brunches in a rolling 12 month period (by not canceling at least 24 hours before brunch), we will require $5 seat deposits (returned at brunch) from that individual for the next three RSVPs. No-shows make it difficult for us to plan, as we do not know whether to hold a seat for you or not. Some restaurants are particular about waiting for the full party before seating. Your cooperation on this is greatly appreciated.
